How To Find Your Injector Part Number

If you are unsure what part number injector you have, you came to the right place. There are a few ways to determine which injector you have.  Although online research will probably help you out, we encourage you to physically check the part number on your injector by removing it from the engine.  Injectors can be swapped out by previous owners, and you may actually have an injector that did not originally come with the engine.  This guide will show you how to check through online resources and then show you what to look for on the actual injector.

Please keep in mind that there is a BMW part number, and a manufacturer part number given by Bosch, Siemens, Deka, VDO etc.  The part number that will be stamped on the actual injector will be the manufacturer's part number.

Online Research

If you have not removed the injector from your engine and want to know which injector originally came in your BMW, follow these steps.

1. Navigate to an online illustrated parts catalog. We prefer www.realoem.com

2. Choose the appropriate details of your car, including, series, body type, model, production month, engine, and transmission.  When finished, hit browse parts.
